BIO 375 - Exercise Physiology

Course Units: 1
(Winter; Kirkton) This course examines the evolutionary diversity of animal locomotion by investigating how physical properties of both the organisms and their environment affect the biochemistry, anatomy, and physiology of muscle function and movement in mammals and other animals.  This class also utilizes mechanical and engineering principles to understand and explain locomotory biomechanics of animal locomotion mechanisms of animals.   Prerequisite(s): BIO 112  (101) and PHY 110  or PHY 120  No lab.
