GEO 108 - Earth ResourcesCourse Units: 1 (Not Offered this Academic Year) The goal of this course is to provide students an appreciation of the importance of mineral and fuel resources for modern society, and insight into the geology of economically valuable deposits. Issues concerning the discovery, development, environmental impacts, and estimates of amounts of resources available will be discussed in a geological, economic, and technological context.
