PSC 251 - American Foreign PolicyCourse Units: 1 (Fall, Brown) This course will provide an overview of the history of US Foreign Policy from the Cold War to the post-Cold War era. The course focuses on major policy options, issues in the Middle East, reset to Asia, and the choices between multilateralism and hegemonic dominance. The course emphasizes policy-making, especially the role of the President and Executive, in struggles with Congress, and the role of various NGO’s, think tanks, and other lobbyists in the formation of foreign policy outcomes.
