Surface and groundwater hydrology; reservoir, lake, and stream pollution; water and wastewater treatment. Applications of fluid mechanics principles to design of civil engineering fluid systems, including flow measurement, single and multiple pipelines, water distribution networks, hydroelectric power generation, and flood control. Emphasis on computer assisted methods for design. Prerequisite(s): CEE 260
