CEE 492 - Capstone Design 2

In this second term of the two term design course sequence students work in teams to select, design, prototype (if appropriate), and effectively present solutions to open-ended projects. The second term focuses on additional development of teaming and communication skills, discussion of professional ethics and licensure, design selection, relevant regulatory documents, and the detailed design needed for Civil and Environmental Engineering designs. Teams will create presentations and written reports that cover the execution of the selected design in detail including technical calculations and drawings, cost, safety, design/construction schedule and feasibility. Prerequisite(s): CEE 491
