ESC 308 - Environmental Monitoring with lot

This course introduces students to the principles and techniques of environmental monitoring using a variety of microcontrollers. Students willlearn to design, build, and deploy sensors to collect, store and visualize data on various environmental parameters such as air quality, water quality, soil monitoring and so on. They will also learn about the drivers of these environmental issues and how they influence complex environmental systems. Students will work in teams on a community-inspired environmental monitoring project which will drive the selection of sensors used in the course.
