AMU 101 - Music Theory: Material and Design I Course Units: 1.0 This course is an introduction to concepts in music theory that enable musicians to analyze, compose, perform, and think more critically about the elements of music. Students will gain insight into how composers design and construct music and then apply those techniques to their own composition assignments and projects.
