PSC 269R - Media and Politics

Major trends in U.S. media, politics, and political communication. The focus is on media coverage of politics as well as effects of media on the public, across various types of media sources. These will include the traditional news media, partisan media sources, and social media. The larger context is the role of media in a democratic society.
