PSY 246 - Educational Psychology

This course applies principles of psychology to teaching and learning, with an emphasis on cognitive and social development, individual differences, motivation and engagement, instruction, and assessment. Special attention will be given to how sociocultural factors like gender, race, ethnicity, culture, and socioeconomic status shape how students learn and how teachers teach.
