PSY 352 -  Psychological Assessment and Testing

Course Units: 1.0
Learn about one of psychology’s most important and unique practical contributions. Review issues related to test construction (e.g., reliability and validity) and practice construction and validation of a new test that incorporates diversity, equity, and inclusion goals. Students will work with SPSS in the lab and will be exposed to a range of commonly used psychological assessments, such as intelligence tests, in lab sessions. Prerequisite(s): PSY 300    Corequisite(s): PSY 352L CQ: WAC-R, JNPS Lecture/Lab Hours One lab per week Note: This course does not fulfill the lab requirement for the Psychology major.
