ATH 123 - History of Fashion and Dress

Course Units: 1.0

We will be analyzing cultural influences of the exterior world, the psychology of dress, period movement, and the expression of self through choice of dress. Student research projects will be presented to the class throughout the term in combination with discussions and lectures on fashion periods. The class will culminate in a final research paper and class presentation on a specific subject of fashion history chosen by the student. CQ: HUM, WAC, JCHF
