AVA 405 - Special Projects in Painting: Inside the Artist’s Studio, On & Off Campus

Continued study of painting at the advanced level, incorporating personal exploration of techniques, materials, and expanded concepts. Class time will be divided between independent studio practice, group and individual critiques, and field trips to local artists’ studios. This class will have a special focus on developing your personal creative process and professional development as inspired by our studio visits with working artists. Prerequisite(s): AVA 260, AVA 360 , AVA 365 , AVA 261 or AVA 215 or permission of the instructor. CQ: HUM
