Course Units: 1
Economics of Information studies how information affects the decision-making process and strategic behavior of individual economic units, such as firms and consumers. Information has economic value because it enables better decisions that yield higher payoffs than choices made in the absence of information. In this course we will learn concepts, models, and tools to analyze how individual economic units make decisions whenfaced with more or less information than others in an economic transaction, agreement, or situation.
