CEE 250 -  Contaminant Fate & Transport

Course Units: 1
In this course, you will learn the principles governing contaminant transport and fate in soil, groundwater, and surface water systems; examine the fundamental physical, chemical, and biological processes that control contaminant movement and transformation; and explore applied topics for contaminant management, containment facility design, and pollution prevention strategies. By the end of the course, you will be equipped to analyze contaminant pathways, evaluate exposure risks, and assess remediation and regulatory approaches that protect public and environmental health.
