BIO 327 - Stress Physiology Course Units: 1 How does stress shape our bodies, brains, and behavior-and when does it become harmful? This course explores the physiology and psychology of stress from molecules to behavior. Topics include neuroendocrine stress pathways, cardiovascular and immune responses, brain plasticity, individual differences in stress vulnerability, and the health consequences of chronic stress. You will gain hands-on experience measuring physiological stress markers and evaluating scientific evidence for stress-reduction strategies, with particular relevance to college students. Prerequisite(s): BIO 205 and BIO 206
