(Not offered in 2013-14) A theoretical and empirical examination of production which does not fit the standard neoclassical model of profit maximization. Examples include credit unions, the kibbutz, law firms, sports production, hospitals, the Japanese firm, educational institutions, slavery, government agencies, and much more. Prerequisite(s): ECO 241 .
