MER 333 - Heat Transfer Analysis and DesignCourse Units: 1 (Winter, Spring) Introduction to the physical mechanisms that govern heat transfer processes and the relevance of these processes to industrial and environmental problems. Extends classical thermodynamic analysis by studying the modes of heat transfer and through the development of rate equations for calculating conduction, convection and radiation heat transfer. Prerequisite(s): For students registering during Academic Year 2013-2014, MER 331 ; for students registering during Academic Year 2014-2015 and beyond, MER 331 and MTH 130 or equivalent.
