(Also MLT 234) (Not offered 2013-14) An examination of female sexuality as one of the central controversies of modern German culture. In addition to analyzing cultural artifacts (plays, films, paintings), we will discuss such diverse social phenomena as the Women’s movement, morality crusades, psychoanalysis, and sexology.
