                    AST 220 -  Cosmology and General RelativityCourse Units: 1    (Not offered 2013-14) A detailed study of the universe. Topics include an introduction to general relativity; the shape, size, age, and future of the universe; models of the primordial universe, including the Big Bang Theory and the Inflation Theory; the origin of the elements; dark matter; the cosmic background radiation; and the formation of galaxies.
