ECO 380 - Seminar in Economic Growth and Development

Course Units: 1
(Fall; Davis) Reviews the empirical record on economic growth and the resulting division of the world into rich and poor countries; considers the role of accumulation, innovation and institutions in the theory and experience of economic growth; investigates selected topics in the economics and political economy of growth, potentially including international trade, income inequality, international aid, democracy, social conflict, and corruption. Prerequisite(s): ECO 241   , ECO 242   and ECO 243
