PSC 283 - Social Movements, the Environment and SocietyCourse Units: 1.0 (Not Offered this Academic Year) The role of extra-governmental actors in the formation of public policy with a focus on environmental issues. The origins and development of social movements and the differences and similarities among these. Topics include the means by which such groups seek to influence policy and social practice and the outcomes of such attempts.
