PSY 431 - Seminar in Psychology of ReligionCourse Units: 1.0 (TBD: Staff) The psychological origins of religious beliefs and the apparent behavioral consequences of holding such beliefs. Specific topics will include: religiosity as an evolutionary, psychological, and social phenomenon; the role of religious beliefs in mental health, physical health, interpersonal relationships, and prejudice. Prerequisite(s): PSY 210 or BIO 210 or PSY 220 or PSY 230 or PSY 240 or PSY 251 ; or permission of the instructor.
