(Spring: Samet) Throughout history cities have been celebrated as spaces of inclusion and diversity, so that it is all too easy to overlook the pervasive reality of exclusion, poverty, and injustice. This class looks at the promise and perils of urbanization in the 20th and the 21st centuries.
