AAH 304 - Renaissance Art in Italy: The 16th Century Course Units: 1.0 (Not Offered this Academic Year) A study of the visual arts that emphasizes painting, prints, sculpture, and the decorative arts. Particular attention to the growth of secular art, the role of court patronage, definitions of Mannerism, the cult of the artistic genius, and the emergence of a history of art in this period.
