BIO 345 - The Illustrated Organism Course Units: 1.0 This studio course is the cross-section of common themes found in fine arts and biology, using art as a way of exploring science. The biological question of how evolution influences the relationship between structure and function will be addressed by exploring the use of color, light and structural logic with the goal of creating a world of your own. The course will culminate in an exhibition of artwork with corresponding texts by the student artists describing the connection between the art and science. Taught jointly by biology and visual arts. Apply through participating departments. Cross-Listed: AVA 345 CC: HUM, SCLB
