GEO 202 - Geomorphology

Course Units: 1.0
Processes operating on and near the Earth’s surface are responsible for the development of landforms, and the evolution of these landforms through time. This course covers erosional and depositional processes of glaciers, rivers, hillslopes, and wind, and the geochemical reactions responsible for the formation of soils and caves. These topics are covered within the context of the geologic evolution of the Mohawk Valley since the end of the last Ice Age. Prerequisite(s): Any 100-level geosciences course or ENS 100    Corequisite(s): GEO 202L CC: WAC  Lecture/Lab Hours One lab per week. ISP: ENS
