MER 439 - Design of Thermal/Fluid Systems

A capstone, project-oriented course in the thermal-fluids area of mechanical engineering that applies design techniques to the design of thermal fluid processes and systems. Students work in teams on projects that involve the design of piping systems, heat exchangers, thermodynamic cycles, and other thermal fluid systems. Prerequisite(s): MER 232 with a mininum grade of C-, and MER 333 with a minimum grade of C- CC: WAC, WS
