GER 334 - Femme fatales? Women in 19th and 20th Century German Culture and Society Course Units: 1.0
An examination of female sexuality as one of the central controversies of modern German culture. In addition to analyzing cultural artifacts (plays, films, paintings), we will discuss such diverse social phenomena as the Women’s movement, morality crusades, psychoanalysis, and sexology.
