PSC 333 - Twenty-First Century American Political Thought Course Units: 1.0 An exploration of political thinking in regard to the multiple crises the United States faces in the 21st century. Potential topics include threats to democracy in the United States by right wing groups and White Supremacy; specific challenges of structural racism, gender inequity, police violence, guns; social movements such as Black Lives Matter, #metoo, the Sunrise Movement; and the historical meanings of individualism, diversity, freedom, imperialism, and Western expansion in the US.
