ENS 263 - U.S. Environmental Policy Course Units: 1 This course examines the emergence, development, and future directions of environmental policy within the United States. It covers early environmental policy achievements such as the Clean Air Act, the reasons for federal inaction on environmental policy since the 1990s, and new directions for policy action in the 21st century as society understands how to mitigate and adapt to climate change.
