MTH 329 -  Mathematical Statistics

An exploration of the mathematics underlying commonly applied statistical methods, such as hypothesis testing, confidence intervals, experimental design, and regression. Covers the key concepts of the theory of: point estimation, maximum likelihood estimates, sampling, hypothesis testing, power of a test, confidence intervals, linear regression, experimental design and analysis of variance, goodness of fit, and nonparametric tests.
