PSC 372 - Supreme Court & Revolution Course Units: 1 The past several decades have seen conservative victories before the U.S. Supreme Court. These cases have touched upon vast areas of American life: governing capacity; democratic practice; racial and gender equality; religious liberty; gun rights; etc. These changes are so profound that scholars have suggested that they are a constitutional revolution. Indeed, the Court has engaged in jurispathic activity, attempting to kill off inherited values and replace them with profoundly different commitments. This class grapples with the contemporary Supreme Court and the changes it has wrought.
