GSW 100 - Introduction to Gender, Sexuality, and Women’s Studies Course Units: 1.0 This course offers a transdisciplinary introduction to feminist scholarship and the field of Gender, Sexuality, and Women’s Studies. Broad in scope, it explores feminist theory, the social construction of gender, histories of sexuality, and various forms of systemic and structural oppression. We will examine diverse experiences of identity and representation across literature, art, and popular culture, alongside global issues affecting women, men, and people of all genders.
