This course focuses on the optimal use of Social Work in the public school setting as well as the role of the school in delivering human services effectively. Public education has long been considered the great equalizer in American society. This course will analyze the fundamental mission of both Social Work and schools to provide equal access and opportunity for our youngest generation. Prerequisite(s): SOC 100 CC: SOCS
