We explore the effects of technology and globalization on women’s economic outcomes. Does increased trade improve the working conditions of women? Why are women underrepresented in high-tech industries? To what extent do women find the opportunity to get involved in the knowledge-creation economy? What is the role of technology in determining the gender wage gap? Prerequisite(s): ECO 101 CC: SOCS ISP: GSW
