GSW 300 - Transnational and Indigenous Feminisms Course Units: 1 This advanced course in Gender, Sexuality, and Women’s Studies (GSWS) offers a collaborative, interdisciplinary exploration of Global Feminisms and Indigenous Wisdom. It examines historical and contemporary movements led by women, LGBTQIA2S+ communities, and Indigenous activists, focusing on how these movements have challenged colonial legacies, racial and gender hierarchies, and ecological degradation. Through critical engagement with decolonial theories and activist practices, students will explore how feminist and Indigenous frameworks resist systemic oppression and envision justice, equity, and collective wellbeing.
