A practical, hands-on introduction to stage combat that centers on safety, believability, and collaboration. Students will build a foundation in unarmed combat and foil swordplay
tailored for performance, guided by stage combat theory and careful partner work. Emphasis is placed on controlled, stylized actions that read clearly to an audience while maintaining rigorous safety protocols. By the end of the course, students will be able to perform short scenes that integrate combat skills with character, story, and blocking.
