The Chemistry Department is certified by the American Chemical Society. Bachelors’ degrees with a major in chemistry may be either certified by the American Chemical Society or not, according to requirements listed below. The certified degree is not necessary for the furtherance of any professional goals. Union College strongly supports terms abroad but careful planning is required.
