The Jewish Studies Minor allows students to examine aspects of Jewish history, culture, and Hebrew language in an interdisciplinary manner, drawing on relevant classes taught in various departments and programs. Students require seven classes to complete the Minor, which must include three classes in either Biblical Hebrew ( HBR 111 - Biblical Hebrew I, HBR 112 - Biblical Hebrew II, HBR 113 - Biblical Hebrew III) or Modern Hebrew (HEB 100 - Basic Hebrew 1, HEB 101 - Basic Hebrew 2, HEB 102 - Basic Hebrew 3) and at least two classes at the 200-level or above taken from the list below. Independent Study classes can be counted towards the Minor with the permission of the Director.
