MER 212 - Rigid Body MechanicsCourse Units: 1 (Winter, Spring) A basic engineering science course concerned with the kinematics and kinetics of rigid bodies. The course material includes both Newtonian and energy approaches to problem solutions. Free body and mass-acceleration diagrams are used throughout the course. Vectors and calculus approaches are used in the solution of problems. Prerequisite(s): MER 201 . Corequisite(s): MER-212L
