PSC 280T - Washington, D.C. Internship Program Course Units: 1.0 A 10-week spring term in Washington, D.C. wherein each student is an intern either on the Hill, with a Nongovernmental agency (NGO), or with some other political, social, cultural, or scientific organization in D.C.. The internship receives one course credit. The second course is a seminar focused on a specific political theme (examples from past years include national security and foreign policy) introducing students to the policy, partisan and ideological debates within Washington. The third course is Washington, D.C.: Cultural and Political Spaces in America’s Capital (AMS 251T ). Prerequisite(s): Sophomore standing and permission of the instructor. These courses may not be taken as pass/fail. Note: The internship does not count towards the PSC portion of an ID major.
