AAH 112 - The Art and Architecture of Ancient Rome Course Units: 1.0 A survey of the art and architecture of the ancient Roman world which examines origins, development, and the contextual meaning of material culture for the state, the individual and various social groups. Rome’s relationship with non-Roman peoples around the Mediterranean basin, Northern Europe and the East will be an important part of the course.
