Common Curriculum Courses
Calculus continues to be the most common way for both science and non-science majors to meet the Quantitative and Mathematical Reasoning (QMR) requirement at Union. Courses numbered (MTH 051 through MTH 061 and STA 064 ) represent alternatives that also fulfill that requirement. These courses normally are not open to students who have passed a college calculus course. Note that there also are courses in computer science, philosophy, and political science that can be used to fulfill the QMR requirement.
